Single 40 HPMX & IDF Kits are great on 1776cc engines and above. Kits come with: Carb, Air Filter, Manifold, Linkage pieces, Hardware and Gaskets as shown. Kits are available in 40mm and 44mm. 40mm recommended up to 2386cc and 44mm 2180 & up. 40mm does not include velocity stacks. These carbs can be used on other size engines, but re jetting will probably be required. This carb will not fit under a closed deck lid on a street Type 1 (Bug) or it will not fit with the decklid on a Ghia..... you will need to run open props (the extensions that keep the top of your deck lid proped out).
